Reconstruction of the Ravshan Electricity Substation Project

This invitation for prequalification follows the general procurement notice for this project that appeared in newspaper “Asharq Al-Awsat” dated 15^th April, 2014, on official website of Islamic Development Bank www.isdb.org and OSHC “Barki Tojik” www.barqitojik.tj

The Government of Republic of Tajikistan has received financing from the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) toward the cost of the project “Reconstruction of the Ravshan Electricity Substation” and it intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the Turnkey contract for: Supply and Installation of two Power Transformers 220/110/10 kV (2x125MVA), Replacement of Electro Technical Equipment, Replacement of Measuring and Control Equipment, Replacement of Relay Protection and Automation Equipment, Replacement of Communication Equipment, Replacement of 220 kV SF6 Circuit Breakers, Replacement of 220 kV Current Transformers and Replacement of Auxiliary Equipment, as well as equipment installation, reconstruction and site improvement

The State Establishment “Project Management Unit for Electro-Energy Sector” intends to prequalify contractors and/or firms for the above lot.

The Prequalification will be conducted through the international competitive bidding procedures as specified in the IsDB’s Guidelines for Procurement of Goods and Works under Islamic Development Bank Financing (May 2009), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the guidelines.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the prequalification document from the State Establishment “Project Management Unit for Electro-Energy Sector” at the address below during office hours 08.00 to 17.00. A complete set of prequalification documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of USD 250 (Two Hundred Fifty US Dollars). The method of payment will be cash or bank transfer

Upon receipt of the advance payment the document will be sent to the applicant by courier or can be collected from the address stated below.

After purchasing the document applications for prequalification should be submitted in sealed envelopes, delivered to the address below by 31 July, 15:00 by Dushanbe time and be clearly marked Application to prequalify for “Reconstruction of the Ravshan Electricity Substation” Project IDB № TAD-0054.
