Deadline for Submission of Bids: 2 August 2016, 15:00 pm (local time).
1. The Republic of Tajikistan has received financing (grant) from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of the Golovnaya 240 MW Hydropower Plant Rehabilitation Project. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to all bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.
2. The Open Joint Stock Holding Company “Barqi Tojik” (“the Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the construction and completion of Rehabilitation Works of Switchyards of Golovnaya Hydropower Plant (“the Facilities”).
3. International competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: Two-Envelope procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
The main qualification criterion require, among others:
· Participation as contractor in at least two contracts that have been successfully or substantially completed within the last eight (8) years and involves, as a minimum, the rehabilitation contracts utilizing AIS equipment at voltage 220 kV and above, where the value of the Bidder’s participation exceeds US$ twelve million (US$ 12,000,000) each. These contracts should have been executed outside the contractor’s home country. The similarity of the Bidder’s participation shall be based on the physical size, nature of works, complexity, methods, technology or other characteristics as described in Section 6 (Employer’s Requirements).
· Minimum average annual turnover of US$ twenty million (20,000,000) as calculated as total certified payments received for contracts in progress or completed, within the last three (3) years.

Bidders are requested to refer to the biding documents for the full range of criteria prior to submitting a bid. If there are any discrepancies between this invitation for bid and the bidding documents, the bidding documents shall always prevail.
