Project contract award: Rehabilitation of Nurek hydroelectric power plant Phase I
The World Bank has agreed to provide financing under the Nurek Hydropower Rehabilitation Project to Barqi Tojik to carry out the necessary techno-economic studies and assessments for new Tajikistan-Afghanistan high voltage interconnection line project.
CSP Project Development Objective. The Project Development Objective is to increase quality of and access to energy, social and economic infrastructure services, and contribute to the strengthening of local governance capacity in communities in the project area.
