General procurement notice. Nurek hydropower rehabilitation project
The project will include the rehabilitation of nine (9) generating units, each with a capacity of about 330 MW, and associated Balance of Plant; dam safety related improvements, environmental and social sustainability; and project management services for design and supervision of the Project.
This request for expression of interest (EOI) for Project Management consultancy services for the Nurek Hydropower Plant Rehabilitation Project follows the need to have a Project Management Consultant that will supervise all works done by the contractors on behalf of the OSHC “Barqi Tojik”.

Open Stock Holding Power Company "Barki Tojik" has received grant from the International Development for the Association for the preparation grant for Advisory support for the regional trade initiative project (TF 016252), and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to the providing ESIA and EMP for the project CASA-1000 with a Consulting firm, which shall provide the consulting services for: Environmental Impact Assessment and Environmental Management Plan.

Wholesale Metering and Transmission Reinforcement Project.
The Republic of Tajikistan has received financing (grant) from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost Wholesale Metering and Transmission Reinforcement Project.Parts of this financing will be used for payments under the contract for Replacement of electricity meters, replacement of several current transformers, replacement of several voltage transformers, introduction of an advanced metering infrastructure, and introduction of a settlement system.Bidding is open to all bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.

Qairokkum Hydropower Rehabilitation Project
Barqi Tojik intends using the proceeds of a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development [the Bank] to rehabilitate the hydro-mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment of the existing Qairokkum hydro power plant under present and future climatic conditions and increase the existing installed capacity from 126MW to 174MW by installing turbines with greater rated capacity.
In the frame of Project Preparation Advance for Winter Energy Project which will be provided by the International Development Association, OSHC "Barqi Tojik" intends to use part of these funds for the contract to supply of office equipment and associated supplies for PRG ELRP BT.

Sugd Energy Loss Reduction Project – Extended PIU Consultancy Services
Assignment Description: The purpose of the Project is to assist the Borrower in (a) the supply and installation of electricity retail and grid meters, meter reading system, low voltage equipment meters with ancillary equipment and all necessary maintenance equipment to allow demand side management, (b) the reduction of distribution network losses, (c) the improvement of quality of supply and (d) the increase of energy efficiency.
