Execution design for replacement of six autotransformers, refurbishment and partial replacement of various high voltage equipment and ancillary systems.
Decontamination of structures with respect to rehabilitation of equipment.
Supply of new equipment and spare parts including shipping to site.
Dismantling of existing equipment, erection and commissioning of new equipment, one group of three single-phase autotransformers at a time, with minimized impact on power plant operation and power production.

Nurek hydropower rehabilitation project. Phase 1
The Republic of Tajikistan has applied for financing from the World Bank International Development Association, Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank and Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development (EFSD) toward the cost of the “Nurek hydropower rehabilitation project. Phase I.”, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the Contract for Rehabilitation of Switchyard.

Nurek hydropower rehabilitation project
The Republic of Tajikistan has received financing from the World Bank International Development Association and Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank toward the cost of the Nurek Hydromechanical Equipment rehabilitation project. It is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for Package 3, Hydromechanical equipment.

The OSHC “Barqi Tajik” assigned for selection and recruitment of an audit firm, now invites eligible consulting firms (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services.

Supply and Installation of Smart Meters, Meter Reading System Equipment, Auditable Billing System in Khujand and Surrounding Municipalities
The first part of SUGD is at its final stage and includes (i) Lot 1. Supply and Installation of Smart Meters, Meter Reading System Equipment, Auditable Billing System in Khujand and Surrounding Municipalities, and (ii) Lot 2 Rehabilitation of Khujand Electrical System. The SUGD Extension Project (the Project) includes the construction of a new substation (Temurmalik) 110/10 kV in the southern part of Kamoli Khujandi Park. It will also include the connection by a 2.5 km /110 kV OHL Double Circuit to another substation and ancillary equipment.

Qairokkum Hydropower Rehabilitation Project Phase II
The Open Stock Holding Company Barqi Tojik (BT) is a 100% state-owned vertically integrated power utility responsible for generation, transmission and distribution of electricity in Tajikistan. BT intends using loan proceeds from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and European Investment Bank (EIB) as well as potential funding from the Green Climate Fund (“GCF”) to finance Phase II of the priority rehabilitation program at the Qairokkum hydro power plant.
